Finewood Marketing UK Limited is a member of the Timber Research and Development Association (TRADA) and in 2005 achieved FSC® and PEFC Chain of Custody Certification.

The policy of the company is to source product from manufacturers only using raw material from well managed production forest in accordance with the principals of sustained yield management, and to avoid trading in illegally harvested wood, wood harvested in violation of traditional and civil rights, wood harvested in forests where high conservation values are threatened by management activities, wood harvested in forests being converted to plantations or non-forest use and wood from forests including genetically modified trees.

Finewood Marketing UK Limited supports FSC®, PEFC and other nationally acknowledged certification programmes and recognises them as truly independent forest certification systems.

The company is committed to encourage all its trading partners to make similar commitments to a sustainable purchasing and environmental policy. We have secured FSC® and PEFC Chain of Custody Certifications, along with putting in place a robust Due Diligence System in order to comply with UK Timber Regulations as a demonstration of our commitment in this regard.
